This is Luigi Nicholas Mangione, the man who allegedly shot and killed United Healthcare CEO, Brian Thompson while on a business trip. Brian Thompson was saying in a hotel across the street from where he was going to give a speech at small convention. As Brian, Thompson, and the early morning was leaving his hotel, heading toward the hotel across the street is when Luigi allegedly opened fire on the CEO by shooting him from the back. Where the CEO was shot. He died of his injuries at the scene. Luigi then flood the scene on an e-bike before ditching the bike at a nearby park and then vanishing. It was not until a few weeks later law-enforcement was able to construct a sketch of the alleged shooter and when the alleged shooter was spotted at a fast food restaurant by an employee, police were called in order to arrest him.
Luigi Hired an attorney. Luigi was also wanted in the same area where he was arrested. When the state of New York heard that he had been arrested, they wanted him to be extradited to New York to face charges however, his attorney was trying to stop the extradition. After a few weeks of trying to delay the expedition eventually he was expedited to New York to be taken into custody, formally charged with second-degree murder,[a]three counts of illegal weapons possession, and forgery.
The prosecutor is seeking that he receives the death penalty if he is convicted (found guilty).
I personally do not see how he can be charged with terrorism when he did not commit Anything that comes remotely to terrorism, I just do not see that, however, based in the video that has been released, the person who is in the video which is believed to be Luigi Nicholas Mangione, which he should receive not the death penalty, but life imprisonment without the possibility of approval. In other words, he would spend the rest of his natural life behind bars.
