I’m not sure what is going on with Minneapolis in the whole entire state of Minnesota between the fraud scandals, The ongoing public feud over immigration and customs enforcement and the Federal government trying to enforce a federal law how really all of this could’ve easily been prevented had none of this public feuding play out in the public. They probably would’ve not cost anyone’s life.
regards to what level of government you serve at whether the local, state or the federal, nor shouldn’t matter what position every single person took something called the oath of office where they swear or firm to protect and defend the constitution against foreign and domestic terrorist, and also uphold the law.
I think this ongoing public mistress started not because of Trump, but I think this goes way back to over the death of Trayvon Martin where many people felt that the criminal justice system had failed by allowing what many people believed that George Zimmerman was guilty After the verdict was announced that he was not guilty on all charges.
after the not guilty verdict a year later and following several years after there have been high profile cases mostly involving law-enforcement’s actions when it comes to how they handle suspects an ongoing debate on whether the suspect should have simply complied or what is a reasonable amount of force to get a suspect under control. In many of these incidents, they are involving/African-Americans and Mostly white male cops that In many cases are shielded from prosecution due to a law called “ Qualified immunity”. This law has been under public scrutiny and will continue to be under public scrutiny just like during an after the verdict of George Zimmerman being found not guilty on all charges Florida standard ground law also came under scrutiny and it is still under scrutiny.
Going back far as the case involving Trevon Martin up until today, the nation has really been divided not just Democrats believing one thing and wanting something well on the other hand Republicans want something but even among the political parties people are divided.
is there any coming back from the high tension or is a practically nothing can be done in order to restore public trust, confidence coming holding the men and women that are granted special privileges accountable?
I know one thing for sure is that all three levels of government need to stop this public feuding instead if they wish to continue the feud, they need to do it through the legal judicial system where it is a controlled environment all parties testify under oath, only permissible evidence is allowed and The outcome of the litigation will determine it’s a local government and state violating federal law or is a federal law not being violated in the federal garment is overreaching and in fact, breaking state law or local governments law?
another thing that needs to stop is a politicians and elected officials referring to immigration and customs enforcement as “Gestapo’s”, “trump’s secret police to disappear people” as it does not escalate tensions, doesn’t stop the feeding what this does is shows that there’s a complete breakdown in law and order. Members of Congress have the power to introduced legislation, debate on it, and then vote on the legislation to then go before the president for a signature, and if the president Vitos the legislation, Congress still has the power to override the president Vito and make it law of the land.
