Last year around this time word went out that Sears located in Hampton, Virginia at Newmarket Fair Mall a.k.a Net Center was on the chopping block to be shut down. Liquidation sales I believe started sometime in September. By December Sears was closed because I believe January 10 they had to be out of the building.
Well it’s like a déjà vu the only difference is instead of Sears closing at the Newmarket Fair Mall, it’s Kmart. I heard rumor that Kmart was slated to close so of course I had to go check out Kmart and there were no signs posted outside saying “store closing” and there were no signs that says “everything must go”, throughout the store so the rumor turned out to be not true.
Well I guess that rumor that was going around maybe had some truth to it after all.
