Alexandria Hotel and the ghost wing?

/ March 20, 2026

Any building that has two or more floors must have stairs and in modern buildings elevators for convenience and to also completely with American Disability Act (ADA) that requires all buildings to be responsible accessible, but one section of the Alexandria Hotel did not have either, this wasn’t an issue as the new wing used the existing stairs and elevators, but due to a rent dispute the owner of the Alexandria Hotel bricked up the hallways on all seven floors leaving the new side completely sealed off.

Back when the Alexandria Hotel was constructed, this was the most luxurious hotel in the time and attracted celebrities, and even presidents to hold functions and stay here, but with everything some good things just do not last. The decline of people staying as their was other hotels opening up near by this forced the hotel to change hands over time.
