In this quick article, we will cover how scammers can easily trick you into thinking that you are at the genuine website when in fact, you’re not at a genuine website you’re at a website for them to steal your login credentials and by the time you realize that it is too late and probably the damage has already been done.
Most letters and numbers whether they are capitalized or not, regardless of what font you use it’s very hard for them to be easily confused i.e Aa, however, some letters and numbers they can easily be confused and sometimes it’s nearly impossible to tell the difference between them and scammers love this.
The letter “n” is in Nancy in lower case with two n’s i.e. nn can sometimes be confused with the letter “m” is in mom. If you’re in a rush this may be easily confused.
The letters in lower case “c” is in cat, and the letter “l” as in love when put together with no space i.e. cl can be confused with “d” as in David. I am also going to say the same thing with O as in out and “l” as in love. ol. (Maybe that is a little far stretch but still it is something to be on the lookout for.)
Next we have something a little harder one and the final one is coming.
This one depending on the font you used the letter “o” as in out regardless if it is lower case or not can sometimes look like a zero and the zero can also look like an “o” as in out.
This one I want to you see if you can tell the different in the name that I will post without cheating, which is one spells the name Wells?
If you said A.) has the right spelling than you are correct, however if you said B.) is correct than you are wrong and you would have been scammed as the second choice is not Wells it’s Weiis.
A capital “I” as in Iowa can be easily confused with a little case “l” as in love. In fact depending the fount used, this can be impossible to tell the differences.
Always check the website’s URL and if you are not sure, you type in the URL to make sure you are arriving at the genuine website not at a website that is a fake.
