East Ohio Regional Hospital: A defunct hospital had its power turned off for not paying power bill, at least a year worth.

/ March 20, 2026

Why does the media some of them always have to create a news article that they have to sensationalize or make something overdramatic instead of just reporting the news where creates less panic, less anger, less confusion, and less opinions, but more facts and more sources?

A local new station creates a new article about East Ohio Regional Hospital that had its power turned off and the way they decided to title the news article it makes it appear that East Ohio Regional Hospital was an active hospital that just it’s power turned off so people only reading the title a.k.a. headline would get angry and upset over nothing because they decided to leave one piece of key information out. The hospital is actually permanently closed, so Power being disconnected what NOT affect patient care.

East Ohio Regional Hospital located in Martin Ferry, Ohio now a defunct hospital had its powered turn off due to unpaid power bill, a years worth of unpaid bill.
