this article will not teach you how to scam somebody or find a loophole in Facebook in order to receive anything free, this quick tutorial will show you how you can see it’s sellers performance, what the seller has available for sale
Short URL for the item
Each item that is listed on Facebook marketplace has a unique URL such as like this one https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/number_here, but you can also make this short simply type in fb.com/number_here and you will be taken directly to the item listed on Facebook marketplace.
Seller’s profile
If you ever want to bookmark a seller on Facebook marketplace this is the item that is for sale, scroll down until you see the sellers name, click on the sellers name which a pop-up will appear depending on how the sellers privacy settings are set you may not see “follow“, however you will see ”see profile” and ”report”. When is pop-up appears you can copy the URL that is in your address bar and each time you visit this address you’ll be taken to this pop-up and you can see the different items that the seller has available for sale. The URL looks like this with the exception of saying “profile_number_here“ would be the seller’s profile number. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/profile/profile_number_here/
this profile number is also the same number that is used with a personal Facebook account. it does not seem there is a possible way to create a short you’re out other than replacing Facebook.com with FB.com
Sold/completed sales
Facebook marketplace allows you to see previous listings so if you’re trying to see what actual items are selling for you can see the history, to do this visit Facebook marketplace type in the search query for this example we will type in generator > on the left side of the page in bold words you will see “availability“ change this from available to sold. This will now give you results of completed/sold listings this is similar to eBay.
You can customize your search results by selecting the different options from like new, too used in from used to like new however if you change the search term from generator to portable generator it will automatically default you back to what is currently available for sale so if you still want to search under completed/sold listings under availability change it to sold.
