In this article, we will cover different ways on how you can get a hold of somebody who works at YouTube, starting with the easiest to the most difficult. This is only a guide and unfortunately i cannot guarantee that this is a definite or sure thing.
Social media: It’s odd to think that if you run into an issue on YouTube, you need to use a different social media platform in order to reach out to YouTube. However, that is just a case. chances are if you upload content to YouTube you’re probably going to have a Twitter account now called X. The official account that they seem to provide assistance to everyone is @TeamYouTube.
Live chat: For general questions this will definitely be a great option if you want some clarification on a policy, if you made a purchase or if YouTube TV is not working, however, anything beyond the scope, don’t expect to get any real help. (If you are part of the YouTube partner program (YPP), according to the automated email, they say that you can do a live chat 24\7, anything beyond this point I can’t say what type of level support you would receive whether you would be able to get any issues resolved or would you have to go to the traditional way of resolving issues i.e. like copyright claims, account strikes, etc.
Community forum: YouTube offers a community forum where you can ask other creators for assistance every now and then a YouTube employee will answer questions but that’s pretty rare. (At the time of writing this article, they have Temperly disabled, any new treads from being added however, you can still read them. they say that they are going to give the community forum a little facelift and make some changes.)
Videos posted by YouTube: Much like the community forum, a YouTube employee will almost rarely respond to any questions posted in the comment section if enabled. It seems they only answer the first few questions then after that, a lot of people ask questions to go completely unanswered.
Email: Before YouTube change the minimum threshold, in order to be part of the two partner program, I was eligible, and it came with some perks like an almost certain guarantee that you’d be able to reach out to somebody who works at YouTube if you had a question, concerned, or a problem. unfortunately, when YouTube decided to change the threshold instead of grandfathering, those individuals like myself who met the old eligibility requirements, they unfortunately were booted out because they didn’t meet the new eligibility requirements, which I think it’s a truly a shame.
Prior to them making this change, I had reached out to them before and I wanted to see if I would get a response and sure enough I was able to get a response at least all the way up in until 2022. today if you send them an email i’m guessing if you’re not part of the YouTube partner program you’ll receive some general email that’s basically telling you to do some of the methods which I have mentioned above, reaching out to them on social media, community form, live chat.
yt-partner-support [@] google.com – it does not seem that this email address is valid anymore, instead, you were just receive an automated response.
Trying to contact someone who works at YouTube if you are not part of the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) is almost if not impossible. I was determined to find alternative methods on how to contact somebody who works at YouTube in order to get a better chance of getting a problem that I am facing hopefully resolved instead of using the traditional method and that is using the self-help Community forum, using @TeamYouTube on Twitter and submitting an appeal.
After spending sometime by doing some extensive research by trying different search combinations, I managed to find a few email address that seem to be at least to my own personal experience and to my knowledge are valid although some of them there is no guarantee if they are actually valid or not but it’s definitely worth a try. If I try the email addresses I will definitely post an update on which ones work and which ones are invalid.
The following email addresses that are listed below specifically the first one is probably the most easily and accessible email address.
The next series of emails addresses comes from official documents that are publicly accessible in which I scanned through the publicly accessible documents in PDF and compiled a list of email addresses that may or may not be valid.
