Don’t you hate when you go enter your username and password only for you to receive an error message that says something similar to this ”Error! Username and/or password is incorrect. Please try again or reset your password”.
Many websites limiting number of attempts for failed logins before the account is locked for a certain amount of time, while this security feature can’t be turned off and it can be quite annoying it is done to protect your account security to prevent someone from trying to keep guessing your password.
If you try to enter your username and password and you’re not able to login, after the first or second attempt do not continue to try to login as this can lock your account, you should first try to reset your password.
Most websites just require you to enter your user name, email address that you used to sign up most do not require username and the email address that she used to sign up so what happens if you don’t remember the email address that she used to sign up or you dont remember your username?
Some websites will allow you to access the public profile i.e. https://users.wqyu.com/example, when you’re able to access the power profile you may be able to determine if this is your account and if so how you know your username so what about the the email address?
You’ll need to head on over to the sign-up page, you’re not actually going to create an account you just need to see if your email address that you think you have used is taken, this is a way that you can verify to see if the email address is associated with an account.
