The nonprofit organization known as ICANN has been approving applications for custom genetic top level domain names i.e. .abc, .fox, .volkswagen, along with other domain name extensions. The cost to create your very own domain name extension is not cheap. I don’t know if I would register a .Volkswagen domain name too long.
I don’t think the mass majority of people have tons of cash just laying around that they can spend thousands of dollars in the domain name extension for second best option is to find a two character domain name or three and register the domain name and make a bunch of sub domain names of the sub domain name.
