I am so angry at TiVo for Requiring an active subscription in order to use the TiVo just record a TV show

How would you like to spend 300, 400 or even $500 or more on the computer and as long as you pay Microsoft a monthly fee that for the first year you are bound to a contract or you can chose to buy a quarterly or lifetime subscription but that will cost you almost 600 bucks.
As seen in the photo below, i get an error message ”Account closed. Your account is closed. Go to tivo.com/myaccount to activate it again. The TiVo box will not work without an active subscription.”
