I was watching a few videos of people exploring Kmart headquarters located in Troy, Michigan and I came across this video that was uploaded to YouTube 10 years ago although the people in the video are talking about a victim from the Columbine shooting claiming that the shooter had purchased ammunition from a Kmart in order to carry out the mass shooting. So I would imagine the video was originally recorded sometime in the 90s as you can also tell by the CRT Computer monitors. This group of individuals including one victim goes to Kmart headquarters in order to speak to the CEO who had the time was Charles C. Conaway (from 1960 – 2002).
If you watch in the video that has been posted above you can see Michael Moore along with a victim of the Columbine high shooting and a few others enter the main lobby of Kmart headquarters. based on what we can see in the video you don’t see “POLICE” anywhere in the main lobby. however when you look at the more recent videos of people exploring what is now the vacant Kmart headquarters you see the sign that says ”POLICE“ so at some point there was a police station here, the question is why did they move?
In the video posted below you can see the main lobby and how things have changed from the 1990 video to 2017.
Then you can see in 2021 how things dramatically changed from 1990, to 2017 and now 2021.
