If you downloaded RoundCube webmail you may have noticed that the newest theme called “Elastic” now forces you to see e-mail previews and no way to turn this off, unlike the Classic and Larry both allowed you to turn this off by going into the settings > Preference > Mailbox View > List (no mailbox preview) > save or in Larry you have an alternate way of doing this as well, click on the little icon that looks like a gear near the very top-left of the column next to the folders i.e. inbox, spam, ect > Layout > List > Save.
Not sure why in “Elastic” this choice was removed, but to me I find this annoying and not only annoying but a big security issue as well. I do not want to open any e-mails that look questionable. Sadly I have not found away to disable the preview panel in Elastic, so the only choice is to use Larry or the Classic skin (theme).
Users: If you are a user you maybe able to change theme by going to “Settings” > “Preferences” > “User Interface” > look toward the bottom for the section “Interface skin” > click on Larry > then click on “Save“.
If you do not see section “Interface skin” on the page “User Interface“, than this means you will need to use the currant skin until your admin adds Larry.
Admins: If you are an admin and you want to install Larry if you are using HestiaCP, than you can follow these steps:
