Support for Microsoft Windows 10 is soon coming to an end, what does that mean for you?

Microsoft will soon officially end support for Windows 10 effective on October 14, 2025 or 2026 depending on if you purchased extended support. In this article will cover some very important dates that once the deadline comes and goes, Microsoft may not make any exceptions unless it is on a case by case basis.

IMPORTANT DATES:

October 13, 2025:

If you are considering to purchase Microsoft Windows 10 extended support you have until 13th of October to decide, after this date you will not be able to purchase Microsoft Windows 10 extended support. Microsoft may make exceptions solely based on a case by case basis depending on the circumstances.

October 14, 2025:

If your computer meet the minimum system requirements to upgrade to Windows 11, you will have until the 14th of October to decide, after this date you will not be able to upgrade to Windows 11 free of charge.

If you did not purchase Microsoft Windows 10 extended support 14 October is when support will end for you.

October 14, 2026

If you purchased Microsoft Windows 10 extended support, you will receive one extra year, after 14 October in 2026 is when your support for Microsoft Windows 10 will end.
