/ March 20, 2026

Earlier last month a guy named Philip White from California paid only three dollars to purchase the hot sauce and according to his claim he didn’t realize that the hot sauce was not actually made in Texas but North Carolina so he decides to sue T.W. Garner Food Co., The manufactures of Texas Pete claiming they are defrauding consumers and that they need to change the name.

The manufactures of the hot sauce doesn’t try to hide where it originated from and where is maid now, one if you simply read the label on the bottle it tells you where it’s made and also on their website, but apparently that wasn’t good enough for this guy.
