As the workweek comes to a close and end of the month a few major news events happen this week, the week of 5/27/24 – 5/30/24.

Trump’s trial comes to an end with a guilty verdict on all charges on Thursday. After the trial and Trump comes out of the court room to make a few comments about the trial ending with a guilty verdict. The next day around 11am ET, Trump holds a presser to talk a little more about the out come of the trial and he also says that he is under a gag order that bars him from talking about the trial. During the presser he did say that he will be filing an appeal most likely next week or the week after that.
