If you are very active on social media where you are constantly posting comments, replying to other peoples comments that’s great and everything but what if you want to reflect on what you have said since day one when you signed up? that could be a daunting task and in some cases probably impossible well maybe not a daunting task or impossible after all.
YouTube:
if you want to see where you have made comments whether they are on your video, someone else’s or even responded to someone else’s comment its all stored in a log. here’s how to view your comment history track or known as the log.
Sign into YouTube using your login credentials > in the upper left-hand corner near YouTube’s logo you should see three lines that looks like a crosswalk, click on that to reveal the menu > from the menu click on history > on the history page you should see on the right side toward the middle of the page a link that says “ comments”, click on that and a new page will open this will now list all of the comments you have made.
do this for each account this includes branded accounts. Follow the same steps if you want to view all of the comments you made during a live video, just instead of clicking on “comments” click on “live chat”.
now that you can see where you have left comments you cannot make the choice to keep them by keeping them take absolutely no action or you can make edits or you can choose to delete the comment. (note: if you are reviewing comments under “live chat“ you cannot edit comments however you can delete the comment.)
Facebook:
sign in to Facebook using your login credentials >
Twitter:
if you made comments also known as tweets on Twitter the only way to see what you have posted is by viewing tweets and replies and then just scrolling down. if you tweeted a lot of content this can be very time-consuming.
