This is a screenshot of the homepage “Epstein Studio” as it appeared on Sunday, February 15, 2026, before being taken offline.
The website called “Epstein Studio” as seen in the screenshot above, which went live on Saturday, February 14, 2026, around 8:50 p.m. ET, according to the creator’s first Reddit1 post. Less than 24 hours later, in a another Reddit2 post, the creator announced that the site had been taken offline on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
In the Reddit post (see below), the creator listed three reasons for taking the site offline. This does not indicate that the site was forced offline due to a cease-and-desist letter (a formal demand to stop certain activity) or a DMCA take-down under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, a process commonly used to request the removal of copyrighted material online, however the documents were publicly released by DOJ.gov, copyright claims would be unlikely.
Based on the creator’s explanation, there is no indication of legal compulsion. The removal appears voluntary. In the same Reddit post, the creator stated that the source code would still be available on GetHub.
The site allowed people to review documents that had redactions and let the community try to uncover what the redactions were, then give a reason for their guesses, as described in the promotional video. The documents themselves were publicly released DOJ files related to Jeffrey Epstein.
Do you think the site owner made the right decision by taking it down proactively, or should it have remained live unless legally forced offline?
