I was scrolling through my Facebook feed when I came across this Facebook post published by a local police department where they had announced that they had just recently completed a safety upgrade by replacing a solid door with a glass door.
This sounds wonderful that they recently completed its safety upgrade to improve the safety of patrons, staff, etc but the upgrade safety involves a bathroom?
Posted on Facebook by the local police department, they say that the safety upgrade by replacing a solid door with a glass door on a bathroom is to “discourage unsafe activities” and to “prevent the use of substances like fentanyl within these spaces” this allows the staff to better monitor.
Shirley I think they could’ve come up with a much better solution that does not involve what I think it growth violation of peoples privacy, especially if they are not doing anything that is illegal.
